THE DREADED CHECK IN DAY... [enter dramatic music here]

Ok, so no. Today is not day one, but it was, in fact, the longest day in the history of all time ever and I was not about to be typing away on no stinking computer trying to relive all the nonsense just right after it happened. Actually, it isn't really that bad. There is just a lot of waiting in line and speeding up to slow down. I arrived at the Vista Way apartments at about 7 am only to find out that my mom was not allowed to go with me....I am a big ol chicken, ok? I wanted my mom there!!! Luckily I had already met my roommate and another friend so I was just going to wait on them... (i'll post a picture when the web decides to work better)

*side note* It is funny how I met said other friend. Mom went into our hotel to check in and comes back out talking to some lady. Turns out the lady's name was Ericka (irony? yes.) and her daughter was also doing the program so they introduced us to each other and we were pretty much best friends instantly.

...back to where we were! So the girls get there around like 7:15 or so and we go on our ways. Luckily, we got there so early because with in minutes the place was a nut house and lined around the corner. Basically, you just sign in, get your living assignments, your housing id, and your job assignment.

Later on, we had to go to casting, which is where background checks, finger printing, and more paper work is done. The door knobs are Alice in Wonderland, which rocked my whole world :)

Any way all the day one stuff got over with and the moving in occurred. One of my new roommates (who has already been here for 2 months) invited us to go see "Wishes" at the Polynesian Resort. It was magical, obviously. 

So there you have it ♥ Day one was lovely and it was stressful. I am really good that it is over. Be looking forward to day 2 review.
